Foretold by Jana Oliver is out today!!!

Woot!! I'm so excited as the last instalment in The Demon Trappers Series by Jana Oliver comes out today!!  Actually, this is kinda sad too, as being the final book there will be no more Riley & Beck, no more demon trapping, no more nothing. But this is by far the best book in the whole series, so keep reading to check my thoughts about it.

Summary (taken from Goodreads):
Stand by as Riley prepares to kick some serious demon butt for the last time in this thrilling, dramatic and sexy conclusion to The Demon Trappers series.

Riley’s always known that Beck had a chequered history, but she’s not prepared for what it actually means to be in love with a guy with this many dark secrets. Now that he’s finally admitted to himself that he’s in love with her too, there’s no more hiding the truth about his past. And as it turns out, fending off a demon apocalypse is nothing compared to what’s to come...

My Review:
I think this has been the most difficult review I've ever had to write. It took me a long time to write it down because I wanted to make sure my review paid the right respects to the end of this awesome series that The Demon Trappers is.
I don't want it to be endless, but it's hard to let go.
I remember when I read the first book about this kick-ass teenage girl who fought demons that got me hooked right from the start. It was then that I started following this story and what this girl had to say. I've followed her life through gains and losses, happiness and sadness, and this is the end.
The book keeps up where Forgiven ended, and we're now transported into the mystery that Beck's past is. Things between Riley & Beck were already complicated, even without Beck's past sneaking in to cause more trouble. But now Beck has to face his personal demons and put them to rest once and for all.
I think this was the most reflective book of the series: lots of decisions to make, and consequences to face for the actions taken.
As usual, Ms Oliver takes her time to build up the tension and strikes, causing you a heart attack when you least expect it. And as usual, Ms Oliver delivered an outstanding job, making Foretold a great and perfect conclusion to The Demon Trappers Series.
But there is still something else I need to say: thank you Beck, and thank you Riley, for giving me the chance to read your story and for making me dream about being so cool as you are and kicking some demon's ass.

  2. Thank you for the awesome review. I am honored to have written Riley and Beck's story. It was deep, raw and often painful to put into words, but the ending is worth all the hell they suffered.
