My Review:
Wow. This book was totally unexpected. I have to say that after reading the first few chapters this book reminded me of the movie Charade (the one starring Audrey Hepburn). There's the damsel in distress whom everyone is trying to kill and there's the hero. And the mystery to solve, of course. Actually, now that I think about it, even the ending reminds me of this movie, although it's totally different. :)
I'm not usually into different readings other than paranormal, but the blurb caught my attention and I decided to give it a try. I did good. The Mafia family feud is kinda intriguing and frightening at the same time, and at some point it sort of turned into a horror movie, lol :P
Sara did a really good job with the characters: everything is not what you think it is and this keeps you drawn to the book until the very end. I've been told that fans hope for a sequel... To be honest it'd just ruin the book. What she did with the ending it's perfect as it is, and a sequel would be just pointless.
Tiny disappointment: I just hoped for more sex :)
